Just got my tickets for the 7's rugby at Ibrox.

Hit the jackpot.......session features Scotland v All Blacks.

Sounds perfect although to be honest the Commonwealth Games always seem to leave me cold. Rugby 7's is different as most of the top teams are playing but things like track and field, swimming etc seems diluted without the US and Europeans

If the weather is anything like it was for the recent 7s tourney in Scotland then it wont be much of a spectacle, that said making the semis the best result the Scots have had in one for years! As for getting past Canada (recent finalists), Id have you as underdogs based on recent form. Not looked at the draw but Wales, Samoa and Scotland would be the the weaker sides of that list and would have Canada above each of them

Pretty tough pool, cant see you getting out of it personally. You'd much rather be in pool C! Arguably only 2 games of any relevance in the group stages, Scotland v Canada and Wales v PNG
