I'm after a 3 wood at the moment to replace a Mizuno Mp001 (in case anyone is looking for one of these). I'm watching a Cobra Bio Cell and an Adams Super S on the bay. Which would you go for and why?

Cobra because they look sexier. Adams are excellent but are the slippers of the golfing world. Surely you want to smile at a club when you take it out of the bag and look down on it.

Only try if you have money to spend as you'll definitely want one. Great clubs. :thup: in terms of the OP the Adams will perform better but if they have the crown slot or sole slot they are ugly and a pain to keep clean when it's muddy

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Plenty of people like the Adams range and they are highly regarded. No slight intended but I just prefer Cobra 😎

Adams. Cheap and massively underrated. The Adams Super LS fairway was the best I've ever owned, and like the idiot I am, I got rid of it. Doilem.

I'm a big fan of both. I've got an Adams Super Speed Driver, and it's brilliant But I do like the Cobras, I'm looking at a the Bio Cell in Blue. ooooooooo it's nice. Cobra is more expensive, but will it perform like the Adams? Ooooooo what to do.

I'm a Cobra fangirl, so I'd definitely say the Cobra over the Adams. I have the Baffler XL woods (I think that's the model before the BioCell) and they are excellent (they do have the rails, though, which, asaik the BioCell does not have). But Adams has an excellent rep as well, so just go with the one that you think looks better.

This is what I thought. The Cobra has a while to go yet, so in the mean time I've bought the Adams.
It will sit nicely next to the driver. If it turns out to not be my friend I'll dump it back on the bay and get the Cobra, if it's still there.Jensen

I had the Adams XTD Driver and found the cut slot alright, it didn't put me off.

same advice all the time. Buy which ever one you play better with ... if your buying blind then it's a toss of the coin each time. Long way to go a get the right clubs if you don't hit them before buying each time.
