There was someone on eBay selling a lot of Cobra clubs at quite reasonable prices. I bought one and it appears to be genuine. The service was excellent. Her eBay name was mrsangela and her location was Lincoln. Now she is not selling on eBay but a new name is now offering Cobra clubs and the descriptions are very similar to those of mrsangela. His eBay name is rayninenineninenine and his location is Lincoln.
I hope there is an innocent explanation for this. :D
Any thoughts?

I know alot of peeps do not like american golf but i would suggest taking the club in to one.

I bought my nike sasquatch driver off ebay for £90, it was second hand but it arrived and looked brand new. Was worried about the excellent deal I had received so took it into my local AG where the manager confirmed it was aunthentic and that I had a great bargain in my hand. My Pro at my club later confirmed this.

You can list any place as your location on ebay, if it was the same person with something to hide they'd have said they were from somewhere else probably.

As a general rule if someone has lots of the same thing at a silly price it's probably fake.

best thing would be to ask ebay to check (the seller not the club) - have a word with mwj, who is pretty knowledgable about how to go about contacting them.

TWM, if you can give me an item number of something for sale I will have a look and if the need arises I can contact my personal manager on the powerseller helpdesk to do any digging required.

The stuff being sold by mrsangela was legit stuff, don't know ehere she sourced it but it was ok from enquiries I made.

mrsangela had been around for a while, selling "kosher" (it would seem) used cobra gear. If she/he has gone, maybe the source has dried up. Why not sent the new person an email asking if they are one and the same, if you say that mrsangela has a good reputation and you'd like to do business, you'll get the reply you are after.

A couple or three years ago I bought 5h1t loads of cricket shoes and rugby boots when Allsports were bought over by JD Sports and were clearing out. I got 100 pairs of Mitre cricket shoes and Canterbury boots for £3 and £10 repectively and after 3 months I had to open a new ebay account in the wife's name as I was approaching the £4,500 tax free threshold as I would have been stung if I continued so the wifes account got shot of the rest. So tax purposes could be behind the disapperance of mrsangela.

well, you can be sure that you won't be scammed but are you sure you're buying a cobra?? isn't that dangerous or something?
