Cobra L5V driver - exclusive pics and video review

Is this the in vogue option for the new season, adjustable shaft/loft/lie options. This is the second one i've read about in the last 24 hours

Not as noisey as I thought it qwas going to be, it would take a lot of convincing for me to use a clicky screw together driver though. It seems a bit too lego-like to me.

I've spoken about my lack of conviction about inter-changeable weights on other threads particularly those that can be adjusted to straighten shots or to create draws and fades. My attitude is that if you don't possess the skill to hit the fairway with a normal driver or shape the shots as you inteded the £300 odd quid would be better invested in a less gimmicky driver and some coaching.

I'm always wary of these "longest driver out there" claims. With my ropey old swing a Callaway is much like a Ping which is like a TM etc. For me I look for forgiveness, a light feel to try and eek out a few mph in my swing speed and for it to sit well behind the ball to my eye.

very true homer just to add i had the same model driver as yours a few weeks ago and got rid,its a great club just couldnt handle the noise and i use a cobra,do you need ear plugs when you use it esp in the range

I would love one but I just couldnt pay 350 quid for a golf club when 350 quid plus a tenner would get me 8 rounds of golf at Woodhall Spa or pay for the insurance/tax and quite a bit of fuel for my bike. I think I will wait till someone wants to sell one cheap like the one Ive got lol.

Tbh i dont like the way it looks and like herb said i can get more rounds of golf for my money and work on my own driver and save the 350£ and spend it on a scotty for christmas :P
