My first post,
At the moment I have a complete set of irons, a seperate fairway wood, seperate driver etc.
Is there any advantage from a consistency point of view to having all clubs from the same set or manufacturer?
Thanks

i would say not really... for me, i have 5 distinct "sets" of clubs within my bag, within each "set" yes, i think consistent models is a must, here are my "sets" some are just one club, but i think you should get the point i am making...

1.Driver
2. Fairways/Hybrids (no reason not to mix a different model 3w with a hybrid though, but if you carry say a 3w and a 5w, personally i would want them the same.
3. Irons
4. Wedges
5. Putter

Welcome aboard.

Nope. Find what works best for you in the particular slots. Wouldn't recommend having vastly different flex shafts in different clubs though.
