After days of emails more than 10, this service sales person [Mod Edit], just call me a liar for a price match item, I send a link with prove and still arrogant denial, ok
challenge American golf, in five minutes had my wedges in my cart. This is why I will never buy from those people again. Rant Over.:)

:)

In my opinion, the best golf seller on the net.

I also dealt with him the other day when i ordered my Bridgestone balls (as i wrote about on another post), he even called me to take payment, and he couldnt have been more helpful.

Clubhouse have always been great for me as well - plenty times they have thrown in a few extra bits and bobs and whenever I have needed something quickly they have got it sorted.

I also really like them, but I know the Mrs had a bad experience buying gift vouchers for her brother. Was spoken too very poorly. I suppose we all have bad days and they are human after all!

I will keep using them as the prices are great :-)

Unless you have vouchers to get rid of just buy from the other vendor. Why spend days when a company won't price match?

Sine you have already called him out, you may as well post up the liar email and the price you want matched link.

Also I don't think it's right to personally name people on here - especially when it's only one side of the story

To be fair I like the prices, and until this day never had a problem, but I needed a wedge, (http://www.snaintongolf.co.uk/product/11668/cleveland-588-rtx-2-0-wedge-2015), but they charge me extra mail, so
I did go to clubhouse golf for a price match, and the denial was surreal at the point, that i gave up 13 emails later, and American golf in five minutes just did it.
The responses were like:

Please could you confirm what spec you are looking for.... fair enough

In left hand or right hand? ....Right!
Unfortunately we cant price match this, as they don't have that stock available. .... I just sent you a link!!! Tour satin is ok with me!.

They only have this option available in a left hand option. .... What!!!! I just send you my cart with RH in it!
This cart could earn you up to 60 points

Never had any issues with them, including sorting incorrect orders and faulty goods. One of the better online retailers in my opinion. Very competitive in terms of price and very speedy service. hard to be subjective on the OP as we've only one side of the story but my own view is that if his responses to the person at Clubhouse were as curt as the post on here, it's clear to see why they wouldn't necessarily want to bust a gut to help. Of course it's only a view based on what's on here and so may not be correct but I know they've had a good reputation on here for the most part so this does seem a strange occurrence

Why not just buy it from Snainton in the first place and save all the hassle? They have free delivery over £20.

So you give poorer customer service to someone just because they may not come across eloquently in an email?
The fella gets paid to do a job, he shouldn't be picking and choosing who he decides to serve in a professional manner.

I'm selling a set of 3 Cleveland wedges in the for sale section for virtually the same price as 1 from clubhousegolf and they are practically brand new

Acknowledging that there's a difference between 'poorer service' & simply not doing that bit extra above and beyond

We all see examples where a curt/sharp enquiry or approach might get basic service where as a friendly approach will get more in return

A good attitude on both sides between any two parties is always going to be preferable

I'll be honest, I can't make out which bit were from clubhouse golf and which were from mpluis. The parts I think from Clubhouse golf don't actually state that he was a liar or that they weren't just sticking to their T's&C's.

And I still can't see any reason to not just buy from Snainton golf in the first place.

Yeah, I think he's just copied one of the emails, or a section of it. The gravy thickens methinks.
My response was to Homer for kind of implying OP was rude based on 2 posts in this thread, and therefore didn't deserve good, thorough, customer service.
