Another wee survey.
This time I`m interested to know what Club Members get in the way of Guest tickets with their membership entitlement.

Our course for many years has always given members 4 Guest tickets for each season. This year the cheapskates have stopped it even although they bumped up the fees and Bar prices. You can now buy a cheaper pint at any nightclub etc in the centre of any city, than in our clubhouse. :(

Anyway how many if any free guest tickets does your club issue each season.

cheers.

We get hehaw free but 24 at £14 but the pro is not to fussed about it as long as he gets the cash.

Our bar prices are shocking £2.85 for lager and Guinness its cheaper in the town center.

We get a dozen £5 off vouchers for guests making the weekday fee £15.
Pint of bitter (or shandy as I have coz i'm driving!) is £2.20

3 free rounds on the main course and 3 free on the par 3 course at Aldwickbury Park in Hertfordshire.
They also throw in monthly freebies, eg this month I can take a guest around for free on a Thursday on presentation of my club diary. Other months include buy 3 meals get one free, etc.

Guest green fee's half price, however not many would pay full to play our course,I wouldn't and I'm a member. we have so many really good courses in and around Leeds that if you fancy an away day you're better off paying a little more and getting a better experience. No one over 30 wants to pay £2.50 for a pint. I feel sorry for committee's these days, people demand a bar with beer on tap however through the week there is hardly anyone in the clubhouse but it is still open and sometimes the beer/spirits sold will not cover the wage of the bar lady.Clubhouse bars cannot make profits if no one is in them so prices have to be higher, that said I wont pay it.

Nothing for free just the usual half price green fee (£20). A pint would be something like £3.80 I think (dont drink pints anymore cos driving)

We are allowed to bring six guest's per year at reduced fees weekdays and weekends.

Bar price's are a bit steep £2.85 for larger with 10% discount.

We can sign in up to three guests at a time. There is a maximum of six times an individual can play the course as a guest in a year. Guest tickets are around half what a visitor pays.

Bar prices are not too bad on the whole.

Food in the clubhouse is good quality and competitively priced.

It varies at ours

£8 for one guest
£7 ea for two guests
£6 ea for three guests.

No limit to how many you can sign in a year but a guest should only be limited to one visit a month

We can sign guests in all year, three per time with a maximum of 6 visits per guest. Our bar prices are pretty comeptitive and we get a discount on our club card so I'm pretty happy all round

Same at my club, half price playing with a member. Can only sign in one guest at weekends, but not a problem as i struggle to find one friend at the best of times. Bar and food prices good value with discount club card.

If we propose a member we get £250 put on out card in the second year of membership. Already counting off the months!
