Hi All,

I startes off Golf about 9 months ago with a very very cheap set of clubs which probably haven't aided my game much (which may be a good thing to learn!)

Im sti very much enjoying golf but still a high handicaper, so I have invested in some better game improvement clubs beens as I will be sticking at it. Ive bought some Taylormade Speed Blades.

I also want to get a better driver and Im thinking either the Callaway Big Bertha 2014 or the Ping G25.

Could anyone offer some help on choice betweem them two, especially for forgiveness at my stage. There are so many mixed reviews about them on google

Many thanks

Hi mate, I guess the general answer will be to go out and try a few drivers. Forgiveness is only half the story, I think being confident and comfortable with a club is also just as important.
I bought a Taylormade SLDR Mini driver a while ago and it's been my best ever golf purchase but it's not for everyone.

I have a G25 which is one of the most forgiving drivers I've used. However that isn't the be all and end all and you still need to be able to hit it. My advice would be try a few, maybe speak to a good club pro or go to a range and hit them and see what works for you
