club head speed= what type of ball

Have any test been done to say what type or make of ball , suits a certain club head speed. Sadly mine is only 85mph max. I play a soft feel type ball but maybe a harder ball would suit better , what do you guys think ?.

I don't know if it helps, but i.i.r.c. the Bridgestone ball fitting sessions looked at maximizing performance based on more than just the longest drive.
