I know with both Vokey and Mizuno you can get custom stamping done at point of order.

Similar with putters in th Cameron range, with the exception that these have to go back to the custom shop to be stamped (... At additional charge)

I love it:thup: sets you apart and really personalises your clubs....

you have to do it to clubs you are sure you will never part with though as the value will plummet.

So how did you do it? process tools etc etc....I feel a project coming on

On Monday I walked into a trophy engraving shop with my clubs, then wrote down the names for him.

Went back in today, handed the guy £20 then stuck them back in the boot of the car!

Simples!!

I wouldn't have tried it myself, the guy himself said it was very difficult to clamp the clubs down the machine engrave. you can buy metal stamps and try it your self, but personally, i wouldn't!

Oh yes! That is magnificent Rooter! Love the idea and the finish looks great.

I don't have kids but do have two cats and two wedges.....?

Now get out the paint stripper and customise the paint fill! ;)

My fingers have only just healed from the putter!! (which BTW is looking awesome now even if i do say so myself!) Ended up stealing some of Mrs Rooters Nail polish, mixed with some lacquer and chose a red/crimson infill!

Yeh thats the kind of thing i was thinking, but i reckon it could look a bit "agricultural" i would also worry about hammering something hard into the back of one of my wedges.. done properly i think you could get a decent finish, it would need a decent workbench to clamp the club down with some form of protection to the face of the club. I was a bit uneasy with it all so paid someone! LOL

I wouldn't touch those Gary. The trouble with stamping is that it doesn't remove material it displaces it and you will end up with a bruised effect around the lettering. The other problem is if your clubs are cast it will need one hell of a wack for the stamps to make an imprint, but easier if their forged. But even so, near impossible to get a decent looking stamping.
