I'm in the process of changing my clubs from the Ap1's to the 2's and this week is the deadline so to speak said the chap who is sorting me out a good trade in and price on them. Basically i said i want them but realised the comp is on and he is holding them for me.
Question is do I really want the new irons this week, 6 days before the club championships?
I've hit them before and i've got them specced and fitted to me but nevertheless there will still need to be some bedding in time so to speak….
So should i miss the deal and stick to what i know hoping i can get them the following week or bite the bullet and get down the range every day this week and run them in and hope I'm comfy come Saturday?

All depends how good the deal is, and how much you want them. Me I would get them and practice like he'll. Don't blame me if it goes pear shaped though.

I'd be doing the deal tomorrow and hitting the practice ground to get yardages worked out and get use to them and then play with them the rest of the week. Failing that hit the range as much as you can.

Get them!

We are at a point in the year where we have the most daylight, two or 3 lots of nine after work then tear it up.

You must believe they're better for you than the currents, so why wouldn't you use them?

So i got the clubs and managed two 9 holes and 13 holes this week. Clubs feel nice and I managed to rub a few shots off handicap.
This weeks Club Championships start tomorrow so fingers crossed I can perform like I did this week with them!
