I was so close to achieving my goal of breaking 90 today.
After a couple of offish rounds last week i thought i'd go and have a relaxing round on my own to see how i got on with less pressure.
I had a great front 9 shooting 41 but hold ups on the back 9 ruined me. (no one seems to let anyone play through these days). Anway.. all down to the par 5 18th. A pretty decent drive left me a with nice shot from the fairway..which i then shank in to some trees/bushes leaving me an unplayable. 1 drop shot and another shank, i had a hissy fit and scratched the hole (not knowing the score)
Final count of 92.
Although i lost it on the last hole, thats still a confidance boost to know my game is getting there.
On to the next round.
