We all know who's coming tomorrow and for some of us he will be bringing lovely new gear (fingers crossed) but look at the flipping weather uuurgh! I am certain many of us will be climbing the walls looking at that new club/s hanging out of our bag just waiting to be bashed. It's gonna be murder lads.

Not played for 2 weeks and do not think this snow will disappear until the new year. Starting to go stir crazy.

Still have my fitting session at The Belfry on Wednesday to look forward to.

it is starting to drive me mad, not been able to get out and things not getting better as i normally play 9 holes before lunch tomorrow you are right about the weather not clear for a few days

more golf on the sons playstation then

Not picked up a club since last thursday and it'll be 8th Jan before I probably do.

Think I might need to warm up a bit.....

Had lunch at the clubhouse today, thats the closest I will get to golf for a bit yet, course looked very picturesque with lots of snow !!, but not what you want a links or any course to look like. :( :( :(

My brother is certainly gonna be climbing the walls, he's been saving up for ages and he was fitted for a complete new set yesterday. He's got to wait 2 weeks for his MX-300's to arrive but he has an R9 driver and I15 3 wood that will be staring at him until the weather clears up.

Had a walk down to the course today. No play for the forseeable future here it's knee deep in snow.

Spent a while in the pro shop getting some extra's for father in law's xmas. Amazing how whenever you are in a pro/golf shop you can't help yourself by picking up and trying out clubs and visualising hitting them. (Maybe just me though).

Went to the range last week (-2 but I'm a golfing junkie and needed my fix). Thank heavens for heated bays. To be honest apart from my feet I was OK and it certainly focussed the mind as there was no way I wanted to hit the dreaded cold weather thin. The range is open Boxing Day so I'll be hitting some balls even if the course and practice ground at the club are still shut and even have the green light already from Mrs H to do so

heated bays.

Notice you had mentioned them before, first time I had heard of them, do many ranges have them ? Know we could certainly be doing with them, especially when wind is whipping in off the Firth of Clyde brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I'm hoping to get a round in Monday or Tuesday but i have loads of stuff to do and i dont think HID is liking the idea so i might need to do a bit of pleading :D

Advantage moi: I don't have to go to the golf course and collect balls on the range :reason: can't f*ckin see them

Disadvantage moi: Can't go and hit my new ping g10's.

but in the end not such a big problem; i had a go at them when i got them. Just had to sweep the snow of the mats.

Im supposed to be playing on monday but im not sure the weather here will permit....Its been below -4 for the past week iv got a hose out the back that i could hold a full line of washing up with!
And to top it all this morning it rained for an hour and its now -5 outside.....Cue the ice skates.......
