In another attempt to raise funds to join a club I've looked into the idea of getting a 2nd hand Clicgear trolley and selling my electric.

I've done a search on here and the general consensus was that they are great.

Is everyone still happy with theirs?

Well I am still extremely satisfied. Extremely well made; a pleasure to use and a good fastening system so no slipping bags.

Cheers Sam

Are they as easy to push as they say?

Certainly are - the sealed bearings work a treat - no problems in muddy conditions. Wholeheartedly recommended. I mentioned elsewhere that the only negative is that in mud when packing away, you need to have an old cloth in the boot to move the front wheel into its 'packed' position or suffer a muddy hand!

iv never seen these before and just had a look at them and they look good, however bit expensive.

do they have a bag that goes around them when packed?

Yes you can buy a drawstring bag to cover the wheels, I bought a clicgear earlier this year and think they are fantastic, I've had many positive comments and conversations in the club carpark and when other golfers see it fold up they are amazed.

I bought one a couple of months ago and am delighted with it. Smooth, solid, lightweight, does exactly what the website claims, make sure you get the umbrella mount with it and fork out the tenner for the drawstring bag. You can also pull this trolley as well as push it by the way, which no-one seems to mention. No, it's not cheap, but you're only here for a visit as they say, so go get one!

I have one (use it when wife is using the Go-Kart) and think it is great, easy to push and sturdy. I bought it because it had a decent brake having nearly lost a powacaddy twinline down a hill into a stream. Only issue I have is that the front wheel has developed a squeak but would have thought a spray of WD40 will deal with that.
