Years of carrying have finally got the better of me and I am more or less mind made up to get a push trolley. I really like the look of the clicgear but there seems to be loads of copies that are nearly half the price. Is it a case of get what you pay for? Anyone comment on what justifies the £190 price tag for a clic gear vs £100 or so for an eze glide or other makes.

I have to say I think it would be worth considering a Stewart R1 as well, played with a guy who had one last weekend it looked lovely.

Everyone I have met who has a clicgear loves them but as you say they are not cheap.

Everyone i know with the clicgear seem very happy with them to be honest. I changed about 18 months ago to a trolley and the clicgear wouldnt hold my carry bag(not designed too really) and as i had just bought the bag and didnt want the expense went for a qwikfold 2 trolley. Came with lots of attachments and just £99. Use it all the time now and only problem ive had is a bearing went tuesday evening. Bought a new bearing from ebay for £1.60. My friend bought one about a year ago with no problems also.

Like anything only you know if you can justify the outlay. I have a motocaddy push picked up used twice for £50 and have no complaints at all.

I would steer well clear of the cheap leccy trollies, as for push, my mate uses a powacaddy twinline which are very good.

I've said it elsewhere. My PP has an R1, I have a Bullet EasyFold. They are similar in design, size and folddownability (!). Mine was £120 cheaper.

Had my 3.5 since it was released no issue at all the net and the handle storage are excellent.fits my carry bag on it. But also have the clic gear trolley bag but normally just use my carry bag.

I tried my old cart an on a few in the shop, it fitted the motocaddy S1 lite best so bought that.

+ve: very solids and easy to use. No complaints

-ve: not the smallest when folded, extras cost extra.

The click gear came with all the needed extras built in, unlike the S1 and folded smaller.

Personally the S1 ticked all the boxes bar the integrated scorecard holder. I could not justify the extra for the clic gear but if you can then I say clicgear! It's the superior kits but it did not fit my budget.

The m1 lite just looked like the S1 but folded smaller, not something which I had any need for.

I've literally just bought a clic gear. Previously had an M1 lite for about 6 years. I've played 36 holes with the clic gear and I loved it. Really sturdy, folds up small and like the storage unit that's is with it. My intention when I went to the shop was the got the S1 lite and it fold up tiny, but it just didn't look as sturdy (and someone was literally returning a faulty one whilst I was in the shop).

I'm sure they are very good I know they are good a friend of mine had one which I saw, But they to me just seem so expensive for what they are.
I got 3 trolleys for sale including a 3 wheeled one any takers? :)

Id shop around first before spending that kind of money on a trolley

I have a Clicgear (but not the 3.5+) for nearly 4 years... must say I love it.. never had an issue in all the years I have had it. Moved to a new club which is longer and more up & down... and now my next upgrade would be a electric. though wont happen in a hurry.

It will take most bags without trouble (never tried a staff bag). The only downside with the Clicgear is that it does not have hedgehogs or winter wheels. It sits fairly lightly, so you could get away with it during winter.

Other than than, never had an issue nor willing to give it up.

I would echo this.

My 3.0 is 5 years old and has ďont around 400 rounds; 2500 miles.

I've replaced the brake cable.

The drinks holder works, the bits net works, the handle compartment works (and is invaluable)

For various reasons I got an S1Pro last week. £80 for the umbrella holder , scorecard holder and GPS holder...and back to using a bag pocket for spare ball etc etc :(

Build quality of the S1 seems excellent but the Clicgear is clearly stronger built.

Clicgear wheel bearings are phenomenal and make a difference.

Only the purchaser can answer the question "is it worth X?"- but to me it's markedly better built than any of the others mentioned above.
