i have a old cleveland 588 rs wedge i would like to regipp.
but i am not sure of the shaft butt size .
is there a standard size for cleveland wedges?.

What shaft do you have in the wedge?

Do you require extra layers of tape?

The current 588 wedges have the Tour Concept shaft which is made by True Temper. This shaft will have a butt diameter of .600.

Ideally, you could look for a 0.600 grip and add you 2 layer plaus grip tape, 3 layers total.

Just be aware that if you add a grip that is .580 onto a .600 butt it has the effect of adding the equivilent of an extra layer of tape. In your case you would only need to add 1 build up layer plus your grip tape.
