How nice are these?!

I popped out to the range last night to try and catch hold of my pro to book a lesson and these had, literally, just been put onto the shelf.

Just had to try one, and no I wish I hadn't :D

Pictures on line really don't so them justice when you handle one in the flesh.

At £69 new (Online) I may just have to take a punt.

Re: Cleveland Huntingdon Beach Putters

I'm a one putter man Gareth, faithful and true......this week.

It's a similar situation with me.

For some reason I started to like Cleveland gear when I got a pair of RTX wedges. When I replaced my MP63's (.... As it was cheaper to buy new irons than re-shaft), the Cleveland 588CB Forged offered best value for money.

Now I see, and try, a Cleveland putter.

Their gear is seriously under-rated.

It is indeed!

Likewise Srixon and Bridgestone! Concentrating on their home market!

And that's just the 'run of the mill' Japanese brands! If you want to go 'exotic' then Japanese brands are where it's at!

It's still the dodgy swinging idiot that has the most effect though!

I picked up the #6 last week, its nice, lovely feel off the face.
At that price it was a no brainer.

Yes, I use midsize Winn grips anyway.

I'd say its as good as the Scotty Fastback I had a while back.
Wanted a mid mallet putter for the slower winter greens and this ones a winner

Didn't like the oversize Winn but thought the Cleveland Blue looked and felt pukka.

I have some winnings from this season events due end of November :mmm:

I must admit I've seen these in ads and reviews and like the look. Has anyone any experience of the TFI series? They look pretty good too.
I'm currently using the Tfi 2135 1. It's a nice putter, I like the way the ball comes off the face, nice & responsive without feeling uncontrollable. Better than a putter with an insert & similar to a pure milled putter.

Yeah totally agree, Japanese market are making some gorgeous clubs. My Next set of irons will be from there, if it wasn't the fact I've just made my own irons up this year I'd of got some Grindworks. I'm still scratching the itch.

Re: Cleveland Huntingdon Beach Putters

Just ordered the tfi mezzo, tell you tomorrow when it arrives :)

I'm sure it'll be fine, but will be interested to see what you think when it arrives.

That sounds positive, might be worth trying both if I don't get my return call from AG about the Scotty Cameron putters I'm interested in. Hoping to trade in my old iron set against a Scotty, but if that doesn't come off then will definitely be looking at the Cleveland putters.

I've had a TFI 1 for two months and I'm really happy with it. Nice feel off of the face and my distance control has got better as a result.
