beautiful looking club! has anyone seen one or hit one?

Seen one, not hit it. The idea is interesting but I don't think it works in such a big head. Doesn't remotely look like a persimmon head.

I was speaking with the pro at the range the other day and he told me this was in his bag for the season replacing the R11,says it's monster long and once you get over the looks it really is a great club.

It really doesn't. Persimmons have a grain and texture that you can't do in metal.

Hopefully a throw back to the Launcher, that was a beast of a driver. The original Launcher that is.

if i take my glasses off then it will look like a persimmon the brown is soo much nicer than the silly whites of 2011 !

Beautiful club and a nice idea to give it a retro look. Seen one but not used one. Although at £205 for one, I may just be tempted for the old Birthday coming up...

The matt finish off the i20 looks the nuts...could you ever describe a driver as menacing looking....I think it does..!

yeah ive seen it in the flesh. nice looking club alright. i had a bash with the whole ping g15 range when they had an open day at our driving range and ill be honest with you i wasnt that impressed. its kind of steered me away from ping!
