Has anyone tried or own these, thinking of maybe changing my old vokeys for a couple since you are getting £25 trade in. The reviews seem good.

Excellent wedges. Excellent value for money and a superb deal with the trade in. My one Vokey wedge is heading out the bag once I buy my 3rd RTX.

Yeah I can get them in the place accross from my work for £75, so with the trade in that would £50 a wedge which is what i paid for the vokeys so not a bad return after a couple of years

It's a great business idea tbf. They will take any old scrappy wedge you can lay your hands on, I got a proper old scrapper from a mates shed and traded that in. :)

my 1st set of "proper wedges". I took a knackered old dunlop and bought another brand new dunlop for like 7 quid or something and traded them both for 50 off the 2 new 588's. Can't compare them to anything else but I love 'em

Recently bought a set of 3, 48/52/56 degrees. Traded in two scruffy old things and got the three for 160.

i think they look good, and more importantly, perform well, at least when I put a decent swing on it.....

Surely you could buy really crappy wedges from eBay (or even Dunlop ones that are cheap as anything from Sports Direct) and the trade them in for £25 each ...effectively earning you money?!

Reading through the post that is exactly what people have been doing....

So, thinking aloud, I could buy 6 Dunlop wedges at £6 each from sports direct...total £36. I then take 3 to trade in against an rtx at a stockist (+ pay difference)and then take 3 more to trade in at another stockist (+ pay difference) which total an outlay of £44, for £160 worth of wedges?!

Seems crazy to me

The difference you pay would be 50-60 quid on each wedge (depending on where you get them from), you can only trade in one wedge for each one you buy.

Even though it states in the T's & C's you can trade 3 wedges in at a time?

I read that as you can trade in up to 3 old wedges for the same number of new wedges, paying the retail price minus 25 for each new wedge.

not sure a pro shop or any retailer would be in business long giving away new stock for peanuts and a load of old scruffy wedges

I did think that...but it isn't exactly well explained anywhere. I'll stick to my Mp-T4's then!

I had the 52 and 56 and thought they were very good, used a 52 and 58 vokey sm4 borrowed off a mate and after the round went straight in yhe pro shop and Vokey'd up, theres no substitute ;)
