Don't know about current models but had the 588's in gunmetal (49,53 and 57) for about 6 years from around 2002. Brilliant clubs, only changed because the grooves wore out!!
Excellent wedges I gamed these for couple of seasons and only changed to vokeys as matched my irons (tart). If I was buying again I would buy the Cleveland 588 forged nice weight, minimal offset and buttery soft!
They are great value for money; look good, sit nice behind the ball, very good swing weight, lots of loft and bounce options. Only negative for me was the Lambkin grips as they are not my preference, still very nice though. Easily sorted for minimal cost once they wear down during the season.
My Vokey's have had it so just picked up a 52 & 58 at AG on my way home from work........had a quick bash at the range with them and love the look and feel.......testing them out tomorrow at the PGA, Belfry course.
