Feet get awfully sore in soft spikes after carrying for 18 holes, anyone recommend spikeless shoes. The idea of not having to change straight away interests me aswell. Only thing dont want to compromise is grip.

Most of these summer shoes have the pimple soles these days so I guess it comes down to design and cost. I like to look of some of the adidas ones. Not so good in the wet and even after a hefty shower a few of our members have complained of slipping on some of the tee boxes. Personally I prefer softspikes

I have a pair of adicross 2 and they are great in this weather when the ground is rock hard. Have used them in damp conditions too (when its rained over night and the ground is still wet) and never had any slippage at all.

I will be changing back to the adizero though when the ground softens up though.

Sounds like a shoe issue, I have been wearing cleats for all my golfing life and never had an issue. I have always invested in quality footwear and always been happy.

I think cleatless is a bit of a strange idea, now we have cleat shoes that get us nice and close to the ground anyway.
