Cleaning Golf Grips?

Hi All,

Just a quick one to ask what’s the best way of cleaning your golf grips?

I’d guess just warm soapy water and a cloth would be ok but am not sure and don’t want to make the grips slippy.

warm slightyly soapy water, give 'em a gentle scrub a rinse off and let them dry

I use Flash liquid diluted in the sink and a nail brush, then rinse and towel dry.

Yes! golf grip wipes get all of the accumulated grunge off and leave them nice and tacky.

just go over them with sandpaper

My pro suggested just warm water and a rag. Shouldn't be any need for washing up liquid or anything, and it could have a reaction with the grip if you're using something like nail varnish remover.

Same here, but i do mean i. My wife is not allowed to touch my clubs in case she jinxs them

Tried the face part, but got quite a nasty rash - took days to recover - should I have changed the water first?
