Classic equipment thread.....worth having one?

Just a thought but do you think it would be worthwhile if we had a thread listing classic golf equipment under various sections? There are lots of threads along the lines of 'best irons for a beginner?' etc etc so maybe listing stuff under one thread might be of use.

This could be under different sections like drivers, fairway woods, blades, cavity backs, wedges, putters etc. If there is interest in this I would suggest having it in the ask the experts section.

Yep good idea as the forum does get flooded with the same questions BUT it might keep possible new members staying away as they will already have the answer without signing up and introducing themselves.
