Athletico definitely missed their front man, Real's defense is not the greatest. Having said that though it's was great watching the demolition of Byern Munich. I think It was a little cagey and then desperate followed by total demoralisation ... But respect to Athletico for a "budget" team they did a good job!

Decent game of football. I had a few quid on Athletico and was pretty deflated when (on cue it has to be said) Ramos popped up with his usual headed goal.

2 things that struck me were the free kick they had on 90, why on earth did they shoot when they should have run it in to the corner. And why no one ont he posts at the corner.....

Well the result saved Ancelotti getting sacked. Was a very "bitty" game , score line flattered them but think they deserved to win

Bale missed a number of chances but wrote himself into Real history with that goal. Again Fake Ronaldo goes missing when the big games happen
