A mate heard on the radio today that if City win this years CL and Liverpool win the Europa then only 2 spaces from the PL this year go into the CL next year. That cant be right can it?

It' would be 3 league places 4th team would dip out there used to be a 4 club limit but it's been changed to 5 to allow for instances such as city winning CL and finishing 5th along with Liverpool winning EL and finishing 8th.

Nope, we'd get 5 teams in, Liverpool would be in (not 100% sure if they'd still have to play the qualifying game as well as the 4th place team in the Prem). If City won it and they were not in the top 4, then the 4th place team would lose out and drop into the Europa

I wouldn't count on that Ian, 2-2 City last night away from home, and 1-1 (so far) Liverpool at Dortmund.
