They'll find some method of delaying it until after the election! And then bury it in an inquiry with either such specific terms of reference that means no-one will be found to have sinned, or such general ones that any recommendations will be so general as to be make the entire exercise pointless!
After all, the damaging stuff stopped happening 7+ years ago, so there's no reason for the British Government to hurry it!
The only controversial areas, from a UK Government pov, would have been the level at which knowledge/approval for rendition flights landing on UK soil was held/made.
If the CIA guys who formulated this obscene treatment can continue to maintain that what they did was in the best interests of USA, then it should be a doddle for the UK Government to brush this under the carpet!

I can understand why it was done as the threats were very real as 911 shows , but not to be accounted for their actions to anyone is not right as is others being kept for years without a proper trial , we got something going on in sydney this morning
