As the shops etc are cranking up the Christmas sales pitch I thought I'd kick the ball off on here and ask what forrumers are hoping to get golfing wise for Christmas.

I certainly don't want any golf balls as I'm swamped in them at the moment but I'm thinking of asking my sister-in-law for a few golf shirts from the US just to try and get something a little unusual. She got me a couple of really nice Adidas ones last year that I've not seen on sale at all or even in the TM/Adidas European range so that was pretty good.

I am tempted to go for a pair of Icon myjoys but other than that I think I'm pretty good on golf stuff. A couple of lessons may not be a bad shout though. If only I could find a S&T coach !!

Dear Santa,

I have been a good boy all year, please bring me;

Mizuno MP630 fast track 9.5 Stiff
A Sky caddie GPS
am Mizuno MP10 black 56/10 sand wedge stiff shaft.

Patrick :D

A GPS is a good call. I'm interested in what else is out there especially as my SC5 has started to be a little temperamental. I have said I don't mind the £30 subs but if there is a better model out there and no fee then it has to be worth a look. When I got my SC5 nearly 3 years ago there weren't that many options on the market. Now there are plenty so it might be time to review

- Golf Lessons from the Asst. Pro at my new club

- Box of Srixon Z-Stars

- Proquip Waterproofs (cheers for the link to the ones on offer Homer)

- V-Easy

- New Putter (I say a "new" putter, I don't actually own one :D) - Am off to try some out next weekend. Probably a Yes! or Oddessey, but will probably consider TM and Nike. Will try as many as I can.

- New Wedge

- Shirts/Trousers.

All my Christmas requests this year are based around golf. I don't expect to get all the above, obviously! But any/all will help reduce the cost of my buying it myself, which will be great and much appreciated.

Oh and my 'rents have fronted the majority of my £300 membership for next year's golf. Awfully nice of them! My dad is particularly chuffed that I'm back playing golf.

Personal training sessions so's to build up strength & stamina ready for the start of next season.

I wont get much of this, but if its a wish list I would love:

Titleist Vokey Wedge 51* & 56* low bounce.(i guess i stand a good chance of getting one maybe both)

And for the real wish bit I would love some new irons, duno what but I am having a bit of love for Mizunos this week

:D

Ill be happy with my woods and putter now until I need something a little more "player" like.

I'm getting cash to put towards my subs and a few Woolovers jumpers, the best on the market for price and quality.

Realistically a set of Ping tour-w wedges but if I want to start dreaming then a years membership plus signing on fee for my local club.

Has anyone tried these tee2hole aids. Thelook like just two bryshes to avoid in order to come back on line but is there more to them?
I'm not usually one to go in for all these gadgets but in the DVD that came with last months issue (i don't know if you've seen it) it looks good for sorting out all kinds of problems. I think it looks ideal for sorting out my alignment and swing path issues, and maybe stop me pulling my iron shots 20 yards left.

If I havent bought one by then a GPS system (either i'm too picky or they all have a negative about them!), some Pro V1s for the following year, maybe a trip to Titleist for some new Vokeys (though am much happier with the Clevelands since I added some lead tape). Thats what I want, far more likely to get 37 pairs of socks lol

If there are any wimmin forummers out there I am willing to let you sit on my knee and tell me what you really want ;)

I would like a golf swing and a pair of ear plugs for when I'm drawn with Fabian!

Aye very good Crawford

Just noticed a picture on my phone of you in that bunker at Dundonald. Must download it to pc and email it to you. Although with my track record with pc's that might take a while. :)

Its a great photo, it really shows up your bald patch at the back of your head that you cant see ;)
