Thursday - Soak Currants, Raisins, Sultanas, Bramley Apple, Currants, Mixed Peel & Cherries in Spiced Rum.

Friday - Suet, Flour, Breadcrumbs, Eggs, Sugar, Rum mixed and added to Dried Ingredients.

Saturday - Mixture into buttered pudding bowls, greaseproof paper & foil on top, then tied with string and put on to steam for 6 hours.

My house smells like Christmas today. :)

mmmmmmmmmmmm, love the smell of chrimbo puds & cakes

got sick of it when I was a chef especially baking about a million mince pies every year (slight exageration but felt like it at times)

wish I was making my own now HRC

No puddings or pies for me this year, I've lost nearly 5 stone on a diet so it's just the dinner for me, no chocs or cakes either it's healthy DB from now on.....apart from the odd snifter of course.

I was on Lighter life but have recently changed to the Cambridge diet, it's not for the faint hearted but if you seriously want and need to lose weight then it will work without a doubt but you have to be totally commited to it, no cheating. Follow the rules and the weight will drop off plus they give you all the mental tools you need to keep the weight off once finished. I have lost nearly 5 stones in 9 weeks from a 44 waist (tight) to a genuine 36 fromm xxl to medium jumper size. It is easy to find just google it, however I must stress it is not for the faint hearted, more for people who have tried the conventional diets and failed.

Uuuuuuummmmmm Christmas pud. I can eat for england, and only weigh 9.5 stone. Makes HID sick she only has to look at food you know the rest lol.

The mother in law makes ours. Top notch. HID did all the pickled onions a few months back ready for Chrimbo salds etc. Sneaked one last night with a bit of cheese. Blimey - bit on the pokey hot side with a real kick but went down a storm with a bit of red leicester

Christmas pud, I can take it or leave it. Has to be with custard though!

God damn you all for mentioning the "C" word before December 1st!!!!

You'll all burn in the fires of Hell - either that or you're all just taking it too seriously!!:p
