I have to admit that even Christianity seems to be jumping on the Christmas bandwagon these days.

Yes i agree its a little sad really if you ask me. Im not the grinch or anything like that but where does it stop children of 6 will be asking for helicopters and houses for christmas soon and i dont mean the toys and the sad thing is they will probably be getting them

Adam and Eve spoke to me in my sleep last night and said they were both disgusted with the situation, so you're not alone markgs.

Having just returned from the midnight service, no, the spirit of Christmas is alive and kicking! A very big turn out despite the high winds.

Having distributed Santa presents to a food bank yesterday so that some youngsters will enjoy Santa's gifts in the morning and helping from 11am to 3 pm serving lonely folk enjoy their Christmas lunch - the spirit of Christmas is still here.

The toys all donated, the helpers for the lunch we had to turn away twice as many as we can use. Folk are superb, filled with the Christmas spirit and giving of their time and cash to help others.

Don't let the deflectors allow you to think otherwise - people are just great at this time of year and also throughout the year as well.

Thats really good to hear merry Christmas to all

I use Christmas to treat the people nearest me - my loved ones and friends

Spoil them as much as possible - eat lots of good food surrounded by those loved ones , having fun with new presents , playing games , watching crappy telly.

Certainly don't celebrate any bloke being born ( or not born ) thousands of years ago.

Thats what it's about well done

Christmas is and always was exactly as you make it. If it means celebrating the birth of Christ and it truly is your belief then that is Fantastic, if it is about spoiling family and friends then again Fantastic. Tbh it lost a lot of it's true meaning in the Victorian era.
