Planning a trip south for a couple of days with one of my mates & our respective (non playing) better halves....

So far we have..... Formby Hall or Slaley Hall - any views/reviews?

Slaley is lovely. the Hunting Course particularly, very nice indeed. Mind you, its Feb, so if the wind is blowing........
Hotel is very nice too, I will definitely be going back. In fact, our group WAS going back until the Seniors Tour event was booked in for the weekend we booked, barstewards.

we're not going until April, so hopefully the weather will have improved a little

Slaley also has the advantage that it's only 2hrs away rather than 4, but tbh I'd be happy with either venue - so will leave it to the wimmin-folk to decide on which of the hotel/spa facilities they like better - I have just been reliably informed by HID that we all need to reconvene over dinner to decide...... REALLY?!?
