Off for a round today and never played there before.

According to the website there's water in play on nine of the eighteen, so wondering if I need to raid the practice bag and leave the new Pro Vs at home :D

Anyone played there. Online reviews look favourable.

Played there a few times.. it is a short course..generally your P1s should be fine, however I am not sure if it drains well. I remember playing some of the holes on the back 9 across the hole where I could not figure out the water from the fairway or green.. so given the rains and because at least a couple of holes are blind, so don't forget to take ur TopFlights

I think I read elsewhere that they've invested heavily in drainage so fingers crossed, although looking at the sky here it's yet another slate-grey cloudy day .

I played there last Saturday. Had held up well against the rain we had last week, so should be fine today. Make sure you check you're teeing off on the correct hole - what looks like the 3rd is actually the 6th!!

Only issue is that there are drainage lines of sand in place across most of the fairways. Greens were in good nick with a very true roll, not massively fast but thats expected with the rain we had last week.

A lot of blind tee shots, a fair few dog legs and some nice holes - incl a couple of long par 3s toward the end. Club selection off the tee is quite important, definitely not a Driver every time type of course.

Enjoy!

Played early afternoon but had left before your post. But perhaps another time.

Nice track and greens very good with a decent pace. My only gripe are a few of the long par 3s. We played off the whites and at 222 & 226 yards then for me that's just a bit silly.

Would happily play there again though, as I like it overall and the Pro shop was welcoming as were the staff and members we met.

Was a member there last year. I thought it was a brilliant course with very nice greens. Don't be put off by the short total yardage. I played it nearly every day in the summer and never got bored.
