Ad's displaying as Chinese text

Is anybody else getting this?

Where an advertisement should be (Left hand side or top) there is, quite literally, a wall of Chinese text.

Am I the only one getting this :mmm:

Thought it was Japanese, but yes, so am I on occasions!

Me too, but only using a laptop. Strangely, I no longer get any ads using the desktop - and I'm pretty sure I used to.

Is anyone getting a load of Chinese like characters appearing on the GM forum. Happening a lot to me.

Lots mentioned online about this, appears to be a UTF-8 encoding issue and the fix appears to be a change to the settings in Chrome from UTF to Western. If you are not sure how to do this, open google page then select settings, search in settings for encoding, you will see it under fonts.
