Been saving up me winnings through the year to get young Bradley Tash a set of golf clubs for Crimbo or his birthday next month. He will be four yr old. Anyway in the club shop they sell the "masters" set of clubs which look ok, But. Had an email come from Golf support today showing some "Golphin" golf clubs. They look as ideal and are a similar price, (£115). Again with an oversized wood, iron 34 degree, putter and the fourth club is a 62 degree club. Now I am no expert but 62 degrees seems a bit well lofted for a young un. Drawback as well is you cannot buy other clubs to make up the set, where as with the masters you can. Anyone else bought any nippers clubs.

what about the Wilson deep red packages from american golf? £110 and a good name behind them

Have a look at US Kids golf sets, can get them from American golf among other places.

I bought a set of these (wood, iron and putter and bag) for my 4 year old daughter this year, they are really light and are weighted for different ages. Probably the best I looked at IMO.

When my boy started a couple of years ago, AG used to sell the masters range and I got him a set of irons and a 'driver' and putter. These were good to be honest, and not expensive either!
They lasted long enough to be handed to my younger son who also used the until he grew out of them.

Now they have both shown they love the game and are a little more committed, I have invested in better sets of clubs for them both.

eBay must be cracking for this?

the rate kids grow people must sell these on often

when I was about 15 and ready for an adult set my dad got me a set off eBay I think it was. Brand new. £150 Texan classic lol never had heard of them! Graphite shaft. They weren't much but they were mine. Saw me through until 2012 when I decided to get into the game seriously and got my pings

anyways eBay I'd say is a good place to look

I bought my daughter a set of the masters ones off eBay for about £40.

Absolutely pointless spending more than necessary as they grow out of them in a year or so.

Lucky enough to win a set of Ping kids clubs for my little nephew. They were superb though not cheap new. Lasted him very well until he grew out of them but even after a few years he still got £100 for them towards his new set

Got my son a set of the Masters clubs earlier in the year and he's getting on nicely with them now.

You may find different to me but I was told kids clubs aren't included in the offer.

Both my kids have US kids clubs and they are great as they are a couple of years apart so can hand down. Only issue is my 7yo daughter wanted a pink bag and the only place I could find one was Golphin. The quality of both brands seems good so can't go too far wrong.

Tash, another vote for US Kids golf equipment - it's very well designed for all ages (clubs sized brilliantly) and abilities and doesn't break the bank. Masters ok too from experience. Chucker Jr now 11 and he's ready for cut down adult stuff.

Gutted gutted flippin gutted. Mark if I had seen your post this morning I would of had them.
However.
Chuffed chuffed flippin chuffed. Played nine hole comp this morning then came in coz tornado Tash turned up when we were on the ninth. So had a drive down to American golf with a Titliest 913 hybrid and 913 F fairway. Long story short they offered me £58 on the fairway against a set of US kids so I had £60 odd to pay. Boyakasha. Pick um up next week. Cheers everyone.
I had a look at the Golfphin clubs and although I thoroughly understand the idea of an oversize club head. They look flippin ugly and I mean really ugly. Again what is the idea of a 62 degree club for a four year old club.
cheers everyone.
now means I have £92 to spend on gear in the club shop on me :whoo:
