I have now been using the scotty 2.5 for a couple of weeks including about 6 hours putting practice and a couple of rounds. I put a super stroke 1.3 on and wow what a difference, the putter feels even better off the face than it did. My gauge as to success has been to go round my clubs putting green using 3 balls and playing 18 holes, I vary distance by doing a 30,40 and 50 ft putt for each nine with the rest being 15-20 feet with a short one or long one thrown in. Usually I would do this in 2 under ish (par 2 s) but now doing it in around 3/4 under with the new putter:thup:
Now an issue - I was going to go home after tonight's practice but saw my old #7 in the boot and thought why not
18 holes and 9 under - wahey how easy is that putter to use:ears: I am now set for the rest of the season to practice with the entirely unforgiving of stroke and impact scotty to improve my stroke then unleash the #7 for comps and rounds that matter!!!!
Is this entirely stupid, what do you think? Bob? - it felt so right it was silly. Everything inside 8 feet and I mean everything went in!!
Could always carry them both in my bag as I only carry 13 clubs
