My mate, was showing of this set he just got for himself.

Sounder Tour Blades, apparently Seve used a set back in the day.

He had re shafted them with S300, 1-PW irons. in superb condition.

Has a few hits with the one iron, that has the smallest head i've ever seen the sole is about a cm wide.

went miles, brought a very big smile to my face.1 iron.jpgSounder tour.jpg

Used to have a set of Sounder SB blades many many years ago, beautiful looking things, not the greatest on a cold morning when you caught one a little thin though!!!!!

I'll bet, the PW looked more like SW loft.

going to borrow them next week for a game at Tain and only use those.

That reminds me of the Slazenger Seve 1 iron I used to play about 25 years ago. Superb club which used to give me 220-230 yards. In the bag for about 5 years. ( I really struggled with woods in those days).

looks great, you could cut butter with that for sure. sadly I think you are not the man to get the best out off these clubs but maybe the real Club Champion and not the Handicap Champion might be able to make good use of them.

I love using blades and have used sets in the past but sadly my game isnt good enough to use them nowdays so I go for a smaller headed cavity back play iron.
Blades look so much nicer than some of the ridiculous bucket sized iron heads that are available nowdays, frankly if you need a sweet spot that size your crap at golf.

I bought a set in 1996 and won our Club Championship with them in 98. My first set of blades and I still have them to this day. I will never part with them, and I've got full set of 1-SW.
They have the original shafts still in them S300s but I've put a set of 50th Anniversary grips on. Looking at today's blades compared to the blades back then, you can call them game improvers today. 😂

LOL, maybe but i'm going to get a shot with them round Tain next week and maybe Fortrose

Best of luck but don't be upset if you can't hit them coz they are not for everyone...

Ive already hit a few shots with them and hit the 1 iron like a bullet. easily as far as the driver and that was with range balls.

loft are very week, even my MP4 are strong compared to those. PW is more like 50 something
