Hi all, my friends wife wants to buy him a range finder for his birthday at around £150.

I know some of you have bargains you have suggested in the past so I’m looking for some guidance please

Any suggestions would be appreciated....

I got the Soaki one from Amazon that was on Homer’s blog and it’s been great.

Also has slope adjustment which a lot of the cheaper ones don’t.

If you want a known brand then you won't go far wrong with a Bushnell Medalist. Less than £150 and not much on them to go wrong. Tells you how far it is to what you aim at (in yards or metres) without all the whistles and bells that you pay for on other models. If I lost/broke mine I wouldn't hesitate to replace it with another one. Slope is illegal in comp's and I don't require a jolt to tell me that it has locked on to a target.

I have the Suaoki laser with the slope reading and you can turn that feature off, so is ok for Comps.
As good as the more expensive ones.

I’ve also got the Suaoki and genuinely can’t fault it when I’ve used it. The slope feature is handy and I only paid £30 on eBay although I had to wait a couple weeks delivery.
