Cheap golf weekends

Hi All,

I have been going to Millfield golf complex for the last couple of years, which is a cheap and cheerful couple of days golfing with accommodation thrown in.

(£35 includes accommodation and as much golf as you can get in all day Saturday and Sunday)

Can anyone recommend any similar courses within around 100 miles of Leeds. There is usually a group of around 8, who are all fairly high handicappers, looking for a bit of variety.

I cant see you getting any cheaper than millfield, that's giving it away at that price and even though the courses are not great that's still cheap.

Hi,

I wouldn't expect to get anything for that price, its a great deal - I was just wondering if there was anything similar, i.e. other courses who have cabins or apartments onsite who offer similar golfing weekends.

Millfield is great, but we just fancy trying some different courses.

Might be worth looking at Farthingstone in Northampton, though may be just outside your 100 mile limit

Try Percy woods in Northumberland
Log cabins and they sort golf out never do it myself but few has From the golf club and they said it was good and cheap

Greetham Valley in Rutland has cabins and golf. There are also cabins and golf deals at Belton Woods. Not sure either would come in anywhere near your price though.

I'd take a look here too. Often great deals to be had, and the course is pretty good.
