As mentioned on here several times already I have arranged a Charity Golf Day. The details are below.

Date: Friday 20th March 2009

Location: The Hertfordshire Golf Club (approx 15mins from junction 25 of the M25)

Itinerary: Meet at the Hertfordshire Golf Club at approx 10.45 for Bacon Rolls and Coffee,
12.00 first tee time through till 13.00,
17.30 presentation in the bar and raffle. Hopefully we'll be all done and dusted by 18.30 although you're more than welcome to stay for drinks after as I'll be having a couple.

They have practise facilities and a driving range so feel free to arrive earlier if you like.

We have many prizes donated all ready with goodies for best individual and team score, two nearest pin comps, and a longest drive comp. We are still looking for prizes so if anyone can donate one it would be much appreciated.

Whether you can play on your own or get a team together we'd be more than happy to have you with us for the day, the cost is £40 per person, and if you could arrange a collection between friends and family to bring with you it would all help.

Any questions or anything i've missed out please let me know.

Regards

Danny

HTL, you're in mate. whats your handicap by the way?

Got to be careful what I say before the big Ascot meet. At the moment im off 22 (according to Homer whether I like it or not) but will be around 18 in March, still not got my 3 cards in for my handicap.

Tony, the more the merrier. I will need confirmation of who is definitely playing by the midddle of next week so if you could find out that would be great. Where in Hertfordshire are you from?

No pun intended here but I cant believe I forgot to mention it..

It's for Alzhiemers awareness and The Heart Foundation. Sorry, I did put the charities in an earlier post. My grandads in the final stages of Alzhiemers and I had no idea how tough it can be on the people around the suffering person. My little cousin was born with a serious heart condition aswell and will need a heart op every 4/5 years as she grows.

My sister does alot of work to raise money for both charities and I said i'd be more than happy to stage a golf day to help raise funds.
