Lads,

I've arranged a golf charity day for March 20th at The Hertfordshire Golf Club (approx 15mins from junc 25 of the M25). It's to raise money for Alzeimers awareness and The Heart Foundation.

I'm looking for teams of 4 with the best 3 stableford scores from each hole going towards the total.

The cost is £40 per golfer which includes bacon butty's and coffee before hand and its a really nice track.

Anyone who fancies it please let me know, i'm trying to raise as much money as possible for two illness' that have affected my family over the past couple of years.

Sorry id love to because my grandad suffers from this disease but i cant get down there but i would willingly make a donation for it. We have our own at bootle called the flame spirit society.

I'm in if possible? My grandad died from it and do whatever I can to help the foundation. Its about 45mins away and I don't work Fridays.

Thanks for the responses lads, i'm in no rush for a decision although i'm hoping to have the line up confirmed by end of feb so PM me before then if you can make it. If you cant get a team together I'm sure I can squeeze you into some teams.

I'm putting alot of work into it so anyone who could make the day would be more than welcome. I know its not the cheapest at £40 but its a nice course and we've got some pretty decent prizes up for grabs.

My sister arranges a ball every year for these charities (taking place on the 21st march this year) and she's looking to raise more every year so thats why I've decided to arrange the golf day and get the total up as high as possible.... Not sure how much you know about Alzeimers but as a country I dont think we research the illness enough nor help the families who have a loved one that suffers from it... its quiet tough.

Mono, thank you for your offer of a donation, I trust you'll stick a fiver in your "flame society's" collection pot as a contribution.

Also we'll be having a few penalties on the day, ie. a pound to the charity for every ball you lose.... nothing too harsh and expensive but just trying to raise as much as possible.

Anyone who's intrested I have an article from our local paper about my sisters ball, i've asked if they will do one on the golf day aswell but waiting for the response.

Just to say that although I won't be able to make it (other commitments) I wish you every success for the day. I hope you get loads of people turn out, and I too would willingly make a donation or be prepared to send you something towards a prize fund or donate a prize.
Let me know via PM if I can help

If I can get the time off tomorrow and you can give me a lift do you fancy making up half of a GM dream team?

GM dream team, i like it. For those who cant make it, thank you for the kind words and offerings. I'll have alot more information on the day over the next fortnight although i'd appreciate it if those that can definitely make it could PM me.

Many Thanks
