Charity day event in aid of Kirkwood Hospice Huddersfield

On the 9th July Bradley park in once again having a Charity day in aid of The Kirkwood Hospice.
The entrance fee is £140 for a fourball team.
Unite the Union is paying for two fourballs and i shall post this on the BASF website as well.
First come, all welcome just need name and handicap.
Will try and get an early tee time if possible.
There is coffee and bacon butties to start and hot beef or pork sandwiches with roasty chips when you finish.
Prizes for the longest drives at the 1st and 18th.
Nearest the pin on all the par 3's with group prizes as well.
It is in the fourball stableford format with the best 2 scores counting to the total points off full handicap.

My mum spent her last days in Kirkwood Hospice in Huddersfield. The staff there are amazing.

Have been informed by the organiser that there are 42 4ball groups entered so far.
This looks like we may be an early start of 7 or 7.15.
still 2 places left.

Been and played a round on the course yesterday to see how its running for Sat.
The greens are like carpets smmoth and true, the fairways are bone hard and running well.
Pin positions this week are at the back of the greens on somne holes and near the front on others, so a challange.
The bunkers have all been cleaned and the sand is free and loose. Make for some fun having to judge the ammount of sand to take.
All in a pleasure to play and with the sunshine very enjoyable.

Still have 2 places avaiable for a 7.30 tee time.
