Charity appeal for NW forummers, no money required!

My mate is having a benefit night in aid of the Anthony Nolan trust, which is a cancer/bone marrow charity. www.anthonynolan.org His lad has been picked as a donor, as he is a bone marrow match for someone.

I am going to donate the following for an auction they are doing:-

A 2-ball at Manchester Golf club.
A 2-ball at Lee park golf club.

All I am looking for is some other golf stuff to put alongside it, to make it a package. So if anyone has some new sleeves of golf balls of a brand that they don't use, corporate golf towels that they don't use, or any stuff that has been bought for them, but they dont use, it would be great.

I dont want used stuff, or tat, but if people have new stuff that is just lying around doing nothing, it would be used in a good cause.

It is being done on the 1st of November, so if anyone has anything, can they bring it along to St.Annes old links thus Sunday, and give it to one of the scoursers, and I'll collect it from them.

I had Balls, T-shirts, hats, more balls, free round vouchers and more. Some even posted them at their own expense.


Our package raised £260 which is going to the Anthony Nolan trust. They raised over £1,500 on the night, and I believe barclays are going to match it, so overall it should work out at over 3K.
