Sorry you feel this way Tim, I've quite enjoyed your posts, and was looking forward to a few reports of progress when you finally got out on a golf course.

To be honest I think Timgolfy could have made a good home here if he had approached his long driving in a different way.
We here are all happy to support someone on an inventive quest or a longshot target.
The only mistakes you made was telling good and consistent golfers that their way was wrong when it was not. Distance is one part of golf, an important part but not the keystone of the game.
Plenty of courses that most people play are not that long and require a host of skills.
If I was you I would have come here saying I am this and I want to be that. This is my story!

Dude whats the story , enjoy your posts & the banter , we all slag & take the you know what, but none is meant personaly , respect of different opinions & games is what makes these things work & the mods are there if anyone crosses the line .
