Currently watching a documentary on C4 about US children given guns at very young ages. I know its a constitutional right but it's a lethal weapon and not a play thing. Getting a little disturbed, now that a 4 year old has got her first gun. Given the numbers of killing and gun crime it's hard not to put two and two together and see where these start from

The government gain far too much money from the gun industry in the states - i cant see them ever getting rid of the right to bear arms - and kids will continue to kill each other.

I remember getting a call one evening from someone at Heathrow and they were having major issues with a lawyer from the US who was complaining that we were blocking guns websites on our WIFI - he was trying to access the Beretta Website - he used the "right to bear arms" etc and he believed there was no harm in looking at gun sites -just him we use family filtering as its an open WIFI - he response was "i allow my children to use guns and read these sites in the US" - just told him we dont in the UK and we also dont have school shootings on a regualr basis and he is in this country ! He actually wrote a letter of complaint to Ofcom and Heathrow etc etc - he is currently serving a 10 year ban from using WIFI in this country.

They just dont believe there is an issue with people carrying and using guns and the power they had just increased when Bush Junior arrived in office

As the programme highlighted it can have tragic results. A 9 year old went out unsupervised with his gun, slipped and dropped the gun which discharged and shot him in the head fatally. Why would you give them a lethal weapon and why let them out on their own. The whole programme left me very worried and looking at the fanatisism of some of the adults you can see how easily a kid can get sucked into the whole gun culture and we've seen the results that can have with so many random shootings. Of course, there are responsible parents and gun owners but it only takes one itchy trigger finger
