Worried about the green issues with diesel I decided to be sensible and change back to a nice petrol family car - they do sound a lot nicer!

Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. But then that's because anything RWD is absolutely bugger all use to me for work.

Looks nice though.

Looks in beltin nick for a 56 plate. There'll be some fun to have in that I'm sure....when the family aren't in it, of course

I like the RS4 - but slower and more expensive than mine. The V10 RS6 is too heavy and doesn't handle that well - and is a lot of money - different budget needed - and I blew mine - was only really thinking of E55 or CLS 55 but the deal worked out on this one - apart from the road tax! And the later W211s are not badly made - far from it - the earlier ones were worse and had electrical gremlins but this is a 2007 model, well past the 54 update that significantly improved it. And the engine is epic - not conducive to helping fuel economy, that is rubbish to start with!!

Nice.

Have you only just got it or been playing too much to post? :)

Got the car a week ago and drove to Shrewsbury for a few days. I last played the previous Wednesday Gary at Bearwood (day after Sunningdale) - and was -2 after 4 holes - not so good for the other 14!!

A car with the acceleration and sound to match the practice swing! :whoo:

Make sure you go easy on the right foot, especially in the wet, or you'll end up on the wrong fairway, or at least ferns and trees, in proportion too!
