Guys, whats the impact of changeable weights in a hybrid,

Light weight = ?
middle weight = ?
Heavy weight = ?

is it just feel, or is there more things affected?

Mainly feel. Though the TM Dual meant that heel/toe could be different. Never actually used one to see whether there was any noticeable difference - figured it was more a marketing gimmick.

It's only small, but I thought if the heavier weight was in the toe (and lighter in the heel) it would be harder to close the face during the swing/impact (massive generalisation I know), and if the lighter weight was in the toe (and heavier in the heel), the face would be easier to close during the swing. If they're the same, it leaves it balanced and neutral.

Probably all sorts of wrong, but it makes sense in my head, and how I believed weights in the toe/heel worked...

I think the general consensus in the industry is that in fairway woods and hybrids the difference is generally so minimal as to make it worth doing.
The heads are that much smaller that the distance you can move a weight is much less.
It has been done, as Foxy said the TM Dual range, but if it was a worthwhile thing they'd all be at it.
You probably get more useful adjustability at the hosel than moving weights around.

Its usually (Titleist for example) to weight the head at manufacture but you can buy heavier weights to change the swing weight for feel.

What you looking at?

this is not moving weights, just a changeable weight pretty central...

Central sole weights chiefly affect swing weight, which is usually more of a feel preference than anything else.

Depending on the difference though, some (like Wilson's FG Tour M3) can also change the launch characteristics. A heavier weight, for example, moves the CG for a higher launch.

Jake has nailed it, it is a Wilson staff FG tour, and i have been to the range and had a tinker, heavier weight was a higher launch, light weight was more penetrating and low.

I have gone for the heaviest 11g and its mega and perfect for my bag set up.

I really liked the FG Tour when I tested it at their media unveiling, and couldn't believe the difference the weights made. I'm not one for playing with hosels, but changing that sole weight on a particularly windy day seemed like a easy fix to keep the flight down.

LOL I'm not one for noticing any change when you move weights or close faces etc! but this sole weight system you could really see the change it made, with my naked eye, the ball was reaching much great heights and coming down quickly with the heavy weight, and really booming low and running with the light weight.

I'm sold! Fg Tour hybrid in the bag.
