Are you happy with the results the AD333 give you?

loads of options out there in the sub £20 market. The bridgestone 'e' range gets great reviews, NXT's, TM's, Wilson DX's, try a few sleeves of 3 to find one you like

As above, are you happy with the ball? AD333 is a reasonable ball at a reasonable price if you go through them.
If not happy with it or definitely looking for an alternative then Bridgestone e5 or Wilson DX3 would be close.

For me and my ability (similar handicap to you OP) I'm not sure the choice of ball makes a massive difference. Pro V1s would be wasted on me and I couldn't justify the price. I played a fantastic round last year with the Titleist Velocity and have stuck with it ever since. But the choice is more psychological than anything else I think. I know a lot of guys who play the AD333 and no one seems to have a bad word to say about it. Unless you think the ball is having an adverse affect, I'd stick with it.

i went from AD333 to Titleist Veloitys which are very similar, found teh velocitys to be wanting slightyl compared to the srixon tbh and will go back i reckomn

Just buy some premium balls, it will make little difference but it will make you feel better.;)

Actually I read somewhere that there is very little difference in distance between most balls, especially if you are a happy hacker and struggle to hit it in the sweet spot. But there is more relative difference when it comes to the short game. Where the premium balls will give you more chance of stopping on the green where as the rocks will possibly not. But then again that is possibly exactly what Titliest want you to think so you go and buy some Pro V1s.

if you haven't found the ball wanting, just get more and get playing.

I would not budge, guy off 12 beat me using an AD-333 and I was playing a tri speed.

AD333s are a cracking ball for the average club golfer.

Out of the mid range balls I tend to stick with the Srixon AD333's. The Wilson DX3's and Srixon Soft Feels also come recommended within the same price range.

Another ball I've been impressed with which I've just bought is the Bridgestone E6. It feels good off the putter and is similar in performance to the others listed. You can get them from Snainton Golf Via Ebay at £40 for three dozen delivered which is quite a good offer.

I found a Velocity the other day and gave it a run over the rest of my round, really nice ball with good feel on the green.

I tend to use the 333's, DX3's and similar and I find them all very similar and probably couldn't tell the difference between them

I switched to the AD333 from the Soft Feel a few weeks ago. The AD333 gets a bit more distance off the driver, but off the wedges and putter they feel exactly the same, which is good as I like a soft-feel off the putter. Both good value for money too, so I would recommend either as a decent ball that you're not afraid to lose. I play off 20, and I just can't justify using £45 per dozen balls. If (or when :D) I get down to playing off a single-figure, and I believe that the only way I can improve my game is by using a better ball, then I would buy a premium ball.

I've just bought myself a dozen of the srixon zstar xv's from clubhouse golf (£19 a dozen). Did use the AD333 up until this point, but was very pleased with my first outing with the zstar yesterday.
