I was having a bad time with my fairway woods and the following golfing day one of my partners handed me an old Cleveland 5 wood that was hiding in the back of his locker.
It was given with a laugh as he had received many moons ago when he had hit some bum shots again as a joke!
Guess what?
I used the club and ....... It is MAGIC!
Maybe the club/ shaft/ or combination of both but hey ho I'm on the look out for it's pals!
The three and driver must be sitting gathering dust in some attic!
I have now spent a season upgrading my clubs and I find this discarded club works for me.
Just like winning the Grand National!
