Arsenal probably got the 'best' result, even though they didn't win their group.

As a group winner, Chelsea should be confident. And they are certainly better than they were last year.

And Man City will be philosophical...'have to meet a top side at some stage'!

I think all three English clubs will fancy their chances. Arsenal have no reason to fear a goal shy Monaco side; Chelsea beat PSG over two legs last season; and Barcelona aren't the side they were a couple of seasons ago - it depends which City side turns up on the two nights.

Good draw for the Gunners , A few top non cup tied defensive players in jan and there is a good chance with the injuries clearing up for a good run this year , they are starting to play better , just need 2 big CB & DM players to push on

Cant say I'm too pleased, would have preferred a team we haven't played before, quite fancied Monaco as I've never been there. Having played almost the same teams as last year has took the shine off this season a little.

I can't see how anyone can say you'd be pleased to get Barca/Real or Bayern at this stage.
Obviously you have to beat them at some stage,but it's better to avoid them for as long as possible.
City are capable of getting past Barca,but it's going to be tough containing Messi,Neymar & Suarez for 180 mins.
But it's what the CL is all about.

Stay in Nice, its a nice town (sorry).

They have a little rattler through to Monaco which is only about 30 mins away, and they still run trains for a good bit after the match.

Monaco was "dry" when we went there and the supermarkets also had bans of ale on, not sure if its changed since, although we did find one bar that was still serving.

I can see Chelsea advancing past PSG.

Depends what Arsenal do in the first leg of their tie.

I fancy City to beat Barca over the two legs. It can be done. We've seen it done before + Barca aren't what they were!

I love this Barcelona aren't as good as a couple of year back patter, I'd be astounded if they were, for a good few years they were arguably the best club side there has been (I did say arguably btw). They'd have been doing well to perform at that level much longer! Now? Well, now they have dropped a rung to being just fantastic.

Their only fault is that they are not quite as good as Real Madrid at the moment. That doesn't make them gash though. Far from it.

Still can't believe they sold Fab to Chelsea though. Stupid move in my view.
