Have just heard on the radio from a travel expert, Air Ethiopia Madrid to Dublin Sunday 2nd June yesterday £134, 10am today £534. Profiteering or cash in while you can, supply and demand? I think he also said no hotel rooms under a monkey for the Saturday night.

I was offered a ticket to Man Utd - Chelsea in 2008 through a supporters club. I was just about to move to England and I couldn't justify the expense - it was something like £750 for everything - flights, hotel, ticket, visa etc. I wish I'd just done it, now.

So yes, it's an insane amount of money but some memories you can't buy.

I'd live on bread and water for months if it meant seeing my club in a Champions League final. And the travel companies know thousands would too.

Last year there were many Ukranians offering cheap lodgings in Kiev to Liverpool fans, many Liverpool fans from Kiev it seems.
I don't suppose Madrid people would do that to the same degree, different outlook.........or perhaps for giving those uppity Catalans from Barca a kicking they'd be welcomed.(y) Must be worth keeping an eye out if you're looking to go on a budget.

Cost me £1300 for 2 of us in 2012, flight, transfers and match tickets through the club.

Worth every penny watching the bus in Fulham Broadway the following day. 😁

Last year for kiev the Flight was £800 and match ticket £380.

This year the tickets alone are likely to be £550 each for me and my boy.

This year we're going for a weeks holiday along the costa and ill either fly in on the day, train or hire a car.

If time off work wasn’t an issue, lots of ways around excessive costs.

Flights to Murcia and back a few days before and after can be booked alongside an apartment for 5/6 days for no more than £400 per couple. Obv gotta add match tickets on top, but gotta be worth a 3hour drive in the middle of a sunshine holiday.

Could I just add that should the Spurs get to the final prices may go up even more 😖

When Juve played AC Milan at old Trafford a few years ago I took some Italians up to try and get tickets. They bought them an hour before the game for £75 each. 😳 They couldn't thank me enough. Bought me 24 cans of Carling 😂
