Not too bad a result I suppose...and Dembele had an excellent header chance when it was 0-1.

How far we have fallen if losing 2-0 at home and getting knocked out of Europe is considered a decent result.
Certainly an improvement on the away fixture though!

I watched it and the usual great atmos but have to say Barca won without getting out of 2nd gear for me, gulf in class, found it a bit dull to watch tbh, Barca defence was very good, fed up with the commentators sucking up to Messi, he didn't do much in the game for me other than a decent run and take for the first goal.
Most interesting part was Lustig's running spat with Neymar, that was getting entertaining - handbags at dawn. Barca had the sense to take him off to boos even a Rangers player would be proud of, funny but Barca get the last laugh. No Europa league for Celtic now so the rest of the SPL are going to end up about 25 points behind by end of season. If I was a Celtic fan I'd be very underwhelmed for the rest of the season, anything but a domestic treble will be failure for Rodgers, no opposition, big fish in a tiny pond.

that's partly why he's the best player in the world and arguably the best player footballs seen.
The run was next level and credit to Neymar for the pass.
Messi scored a hat trick against City without really doing much in the game. He's a game changer and for me is easily the best player i've seen.

Yes he's the best player around but they were sucking up to him just by reputation not what he was doing on the pitch last night. Surrounded by top players his whole career, Messi has been made to look greater than he is by Barca, compare with his mediocrity in an Argentina shirt. Maradona did it all himself for both Argentina and Napoli (2 SerieA titles when SerieA was the finest league around and Napoli had been nowhere for years), Messi couldnt do what Maradona did...imo.

thought we played well last night, got in about them, and can consider ourselves a wee bit unlucky. had a couple of decent chances at the start of the second half, but the penalty killed us.
the pen itself was really annoying, if you watch it, Suarez gets hold of Izzy's arm, pulls him into him, then falls over. A clever bit of cheating.

The only reason Suarez could get a hold of his arm is because it was already wrapped round him trying to pull him back.
